Currently, average rating for ideas is calculated as an avarage for top 5 ideas in this topic. Having pilot tested the formula i suggested I realize now it is wrong.
Say, if we have two ideas, one is given "10" by 100 people and the other is given "1" by a single person, the average for both ideas is about "5" and thus the topic with the greatest ever idea is placed at the bottom of the table of contents. That's very bad. |
